About Fitcut

Fitcut is an online AI haircut recommender at fitcut.xyz. From one selfie and a few quick questions, it suggests the haircuts that fit your hair and your face, with the reason for each pick and, for members, the numbers to give your barber.

Fitcut is not affiliated with barbershops or salons that use the name FITCUT.

It is for adults 18 and over. We never rate faces or looks: the number on each cut is how well that cut fits your hair, your proportions and your routine.

1. Your face is measured on your phone. The face mesh never leaves your device; only the proportions do. You can try the measuring on its own with the face shape detector.
2. Your hair type, thickness and hairline are read by AI from the selfie, and you confirm your hair type yourself.
3. Our recommendation engine (version 1.2.0) checks every cut in the catalog you pick (men’s, women’s or both; 47 cuts in all) against your hair first, then your proportions and your routine, and ranks them with the reasons behind each pick and a confidence level.
4. Your face shape is shown as a mix with a confidence level and is never used as a label in the scoring.

Anonymous counts from real analyses are published on our live stats page; groups under 20 are never shown. What we measure, keep and delete is set out in the privacy notice.

• Guides are drafted with AI assistance from Fitcut's haircut catalog and the sources they cite.
• Every number comes from our catalog or a linked source. Before a guide or an update goes live, automated checks confirm every catalog number, every internal link and every source link.
• Each guide shows when it was published and when it last changed.
• We never rate faces, give medical advice, publish reviews or ratings we can't verify, take payment for placement, or use celebrity photos.

If something in a guide or on any page is wrong, email support@fitcut.xyz with the page address and what needs fixing. We fix the guide and update its date.
